    Description
    We have partnered up with a national medicinal product retailer. We seek a visionary Vice President of Finance and Operations to join our client's executive team. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a pioneering industry leader.

    Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute a robust financial strategy that aligns with our company's growth objectives and market expansion plans.
    Lead financial planning, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting to higher standards of excellence.
    Enhance and implement financial systems, processes, and technologies that support the company's operational and strategic initiatives.
    Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to craft strategies for enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
    Direct all fiscal functions of the company under generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulatory and advisory organizations.
    Manage investor relations and lead financial negotiations with potential partners, maintaining transparent communication channels with stakeholders and external partners.

    Qualifications:


    Proven experience as VP of Finance, finance officer, or relevant role, preferably in retail or healthcare sectors, with a strong understanding of the cannabis industry's financial regulations and challenges.

    In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices, as well as a deep understanding of data analysis and forecasting models.

    Master's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
    Excellent knowledge of data analysis, risk management tools, and forecasting methods.
    Highly analytical with a proven track record in developing strategic business plans that drive growth and innovation.
    Strong leadership and organizational skills, with an ability to inspire performance with integrity and reliability.
