AECOM is seeking a
Facilities Maintenance Manager to provide in-house engineering and operations technical support services for Metro Facilities Maintenance department in Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
as directed by the Metro Operations Facilities Maintenance department:
- Provide program/project management services as needed.
- Provide project development support and investigation as needed.
- Perform engineering project review of all department projects.
- Develop design documents including plans, specifications, and engineers' estimates.
- Develop project independent cost estimates to compare to engineers' estimates.
- Develop scopes of work, budgets and schedules for projects as needed.
- Perform capital and operating budget projections and analyses to forecast spending.
- Aid in the development of an asset management data collection procedure.
- Provide construction management and inspection services as needed.
- Locate and track asset failures and develop solutions short and long term for each issue.
- Function as a point of contact regarding all projects and budget statuses.
- Provide onsite technical support as needed.
- Fire Suppression System Preservation.
- Standpipe System Replacement.
- Dewatering System Preservation and Repairs.
- Deluge Room & Valve Pit Refurbishment Design.
- Tunnel Ventilation.
- Elevator and Escalator.
Qualifications Minimum**:
- BA/BS plus 6 years of facilities maintenance experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred:
- Facilities maintenance experience with building infrastructures supporting most of the following: fire suppression systems, standpipe systems, dewatering systems, deluge room & valve systems, tunnel ventilation, elevator and escalators
- Rail/Transit facilities maintenance experience
