The Children and Youth Clinic at the University Hospital Erlangen is a facility with 135 beds. It consists of six general wards, a dialysis department, and a bone marrow transplant unit.

The intensive care unit includes a neonatal intensive care unit (Level 1) as well as an interdisciplinary pediatric intensive care unit.


The focus of this job offer is on the position of head nurse on the Neo 2 ward at the Children and Youth Clinic at the University Hospital Erlangen.


Your responsibilities:


You are responsible for motivating and leading the staff in order to ensure the best possible care and monitoring for our young patients, in accordance with our nursing standards.

Planning of staffing needs and personnel deployment
You develop and implement quality standards together with the nursing management
You fulfill your duty of care by complying with laws, collective agreements, regulations, and guidelines

Your profile:
You have successfully completed training as a pediatric nurse (m/f/d)
You also have several years of professional experience in pediatric nursing
You have the ability to motivate employees
You have a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to cooperate with other professional groups, are flexible and committed, and have an interest in regular specialized training

Additional qualifications:
In addition to the above-mentioned qualifications, you already have experience in a leadership position
Also advantageous is a completed further education in healthcare management
