Title:
Shipping / Receiving Operator

Location:
Kankakee, IL

Shift: 2nd Shift Available - 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Overview - 2nd Shift Product Staging:In this role your primary responsibility is to manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. You will stage products for inventory production, and ensure inventory is accurately updated into internal systems

Essential Job Functions:

Manage the shipment and receipt of all products
Retrieving product to meet accurate deadlines for production schedule
Deliver Product to product line
Return products / inventory to racks

Data Entry

Hand Held SAP System
Operate a Bendi Forklift and Backing Yard Jockey Truck
Move 48', 53' and Tanker Truck Trailers (Training Provided)
Train other employees
Use SAP inventory looku
SAP CORK duties and SAP Cycle count duties
Conduct preliminary quality checks
Wear appropriate PPE at all times and maintain a clean work area
Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities
Participate on plant teams
Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions

ISO

Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties and stays updated on all applicable procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Forklift preferred
Capable of lifting 55lbs
1+ yrs of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Experience with operating vehicles / manufacturing shipping equipment

Drug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position.
