Seeking a knowledgeable Enrolled Agent to join our team. We are a new accounting company with a focus on helping small businesses. We are growing from providing Bookkeeping and CFO services to also providing Tax Preparation and Planning.

The company founder is working on obtaining her EA license and would like to find someone who can head the tax side of the business while also assisting the owner in preparing for the EA exams.

The job is flexible and will be few hours to start, but hours will pick up as the firm grows.

We are looking for someone who wants to be at the forefront of a start-up with the opportunity to manage the tax side of the company as it grows.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Represent clients before the IRS in audits, appeals, and other taxrelated matters
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide accurate advice to clients
• Stay uptodate with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Assist clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications:

• Valid Enrolled Agent (EA) certification
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
• Proficient in financial report writing and analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
