Job Summary:
_This position is advertised from the minimum to the mid-point hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer._
Under general supervision assist in the management of housing rehabilitation projects; assist the Senior Grants Administrator with the preparation of grants and processing grants programs.
Example of Work:
Experience and Education:
Associate degree in business administration, public administration or grants administration; AND four (4) years of experience in government funded programs or administrative budget development; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience; Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license; requires successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Skill in:
Preparing reports, correspondence and other presentations for internal and external audiences; assessing community needs and resources, and researching solutions; establishing effective working relationships with County staff and regional organizations; organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks and projects; excellent research and analytical skills with attention to detail; technical writing.
Ability to:
Review title reports and identify ownership problems that will need to be resolved; work effectively both independently and in a team environment; work with people of all social and economic levels; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; work in varying extreme weather conditions; follow written and verbal instructions; use modern office equipment and computers; lift up lbs; perform the essential functions of the job specifications with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.
