    TheOpportunity:


    The Electrical Engineer will analyze existing electrical systems and making cost-effective improvements, generating electrical BOMs, creating wiring schematics, completing quality assurance, inspecting the equipment,aswellasrunningdiagnostics,andensureprojectsarecompletedontimeandtospecifications.

    You will be working with the Packaging, Machinery and Automation (PM&A) Team based in Smyrna, GA, where you will assist to develop equipment through theimplementationof immerging technologiesand best in class controls design practices for high-speed automated packaging equipment.

    Researchnewcomponentstokeepcurrentwithnewtechnologies.
    Developing,

    reviewing, updating, modifying, and approving electrical schematics.
    Liaising

    with

    project

    managers,

    manufacturing

    and

    other

    engineers

    to

    ensure

    projects

    are

    completed

    to specifications.
    Establishing relationships with customer facing organizations, vendors, suppliers, other professionals,

    and expanding networks.
    Resolving

    supply

    chain issues by finding alternate parts when preferred components aren't available.
    Conducting

    research,

    performing

    diagnostics,

    and troubleshooting equipment
    Providecosteffectivesolutionstoproblems affectingthecustomerproductwhilemaintainingthe integrity of the design.

    Supportfieldserviceincommissioningmachines.
    Workwithcustomerstointegratethemachineintoprojects.
    Giveguidancetoassemblyteamsduringmanufacturingprocess


    WhatyouwillneedtoSucceed:
    BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET University
    3+ years of experience in electrical/controls/programming.
    Packaging Machinery

    experience - Preferred
    Excellent

    problem-solvingandanalyticalabilities.
    Practical

    experience

    with

    Electrical


    CAD
    software.
    Excellent

    motivational

    skills

    and multitasking

    abilities.
    Providestandardmachinerycontrolsdesignforsolvingourcustomer'spackagingneeds.
    Responsibleforaccuracyofcalculationsinreferencetoelectricalandpneumaticsrequiredfor designing automation mechanisms and equipment.
    Createandmaintainelectricalbillsofmaterials,inastructuredformatandsubmittopurchasingand production on the specific equipment.
    Research purchased electrical components for adequate sizing and selection of various electrical devices.
    ByusingAutoCAD2Ddevelopworkingelectricallayoutdrawings,controlcabinetdrawings,and pneumatic layout drawings for production and customer usage in component identification.
    Understandcustomer'selectricalspecificationsandneedsfortheirpackagingoperations.
    Assisttechnicalwriterincreationofmachinedocumentation.
    Provideprogrammingforstandardequipmentupgrades,andallcustompackagingmachinery.
    Participateinstart-upandcommissioningofmachineryinplantandoccasionallyatcustomer's facility.
