Overview:

Duties:

Responsible for Accounting & oversight of Accounting for company; formulate & maintain consistency of accounting policies & procedures; prep monthly accounting & budget reports; manage & communicate cash flow related issues; monitor bus revenues & expenses; investigate & critique variances to budget or to prior year & offer improvement strategies; perf entry of revenue figures in QuickBooks (QB); prep monthly reconciliation reports for balance sheet accts; prep monthly Profit & Loss reports after QB accts are reconciled and present it to mgmt.; establish & audit internal financial controls; handle payment of invoices, review availability of fund and record paid invoices in QuickBooks and prepare reports; provide management with timely reviews of organizational financial status & progress of activities; ensure Acct Receivable reports match with QuickBooks accounting data; file quarterly & monthly federal & state taxes; provide info to company's CPB to assist with annual Federal Tax Return filings; ensure compliance with GAAP & company's standard operating procedures; implement sys of appropriate financial controls to management bus risks; oversee internal, external & regulatory audit processes; ensure strong accounting & operational control environ; maintain records for tax returns & update income tax filing sheets in server.

Education and Work Requirements:
BS or foreign equity deg in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or related fld.

Will accept bachelor's degree equivalence based on combination of education, training & work experience as determined by professional credentials evaluator; 1-year exp as an Accountant.

Required Experience:
Preparing financial statements & banking reconciliations, fund flow management, handling acct receivables & payables, perform.

internal audit & asst in external audit, asst in filing state & federal tax returns, review & analyze accounting records transactions.

Experience can be gained while pursuing a degree. In lieu of a bachelor's degree & 1-year experience, we accept 3 years' experience as an Accountant incl. Preparing financial statements & banking reconciliations, fund flow mgmt., handling acct receivables & payables, perform.

internal audit & asst in external audit, asst in filing state & federal tax returns, review & analyze accounting records transactions.

Experience can be gained while pursuing a degree; knowledge of GAAP policies & standards & Data Literacy; proficiency in QuickBooks desktop, ERP software and MS Office Suite

Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
