What You'll Do:
As a Claims Representative, Bodily Injury, you'll play a crucial role in our claims team, managing a diverse queue of automobile bodily injury losses
Your responsibilities will include:
- Investigating motor vehicle accidents to determine coverage and liability across various severity levels, including uninsured and underinsured motorist claims.
- Conducting thorough interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses to gather crucial information about each loss.
- Maintaining accurate reserves and ensuring timely reserve adjustments to facilitate efficient claims processing.
- Managing loss adjustment expenses diligently, adhering to best practices and litigation management guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with stakeholders such as policyholders, agents, underwriters, reinsurers, and claims management to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Retaining expert vendors when necessary to enhance the investigation and evaluation of claims.
- Demonstrating exceptional problemsolving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills in every aspect of claims handling.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A college degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of three years of auto claims handling experience, with an adjuster's license preferred.
- Insurance designations such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA are considered a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Litigation experience is preferred but not required.
