Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed company targets.


Responsibilities:


Operating a cluster of branches, within agreed limits:

  • Lead from the front and ensure all staff adopt a proactive approach.
  • Ensure that the bureau is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure branches are adequately staffed at all times.
  • Log & monitor staff performance, absence, and overtime.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external and internal contacts in relation to any maintenance issues within branches.
  • Ensure branches are opened and closed at the agreed times.
  • Hold sales meetings regularly with team so that cluster knows the expectation and current performance
  • Ensure all branches have a positive and friendly atmosphere and staff morale is high.
  • Create promotions and different marketing activities for branch performance.
  • Analyze rates and margins to ensure that we remain competitive and profitable and recommend changes where necessary
  • Ensure that staff are dressed in a presentable manner at all times

Day to day management of sales team performance through setting goals and weekly targets:

  • Manage selling, customer service activities, and staff competence to optimize, sustain and enhance sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exemplary levels of service in all areas including acknowledging customers when in a customer facing environment.
  • Create and maintain a sales focussed environment encouraging staff to work towards branch, company, and individual targets.
  • Ensure that the team have the necessary skills to do the job.
  • Management and motivation of all staff through the implementation of global and operational incentives.
  • Ensure staff one to ones and interim reviews are conducted regularly as set out by your Operations Manager and P-Smart objectives are set.

Ensure all company policies and processes are implemented and adhered to:

  • Conduct AML training and ensure that all staff compliance assessments are completed in the appropriate time frame
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and security procedures within the branch are adhered to at all times.
  • Execute the company's SLA and be first point of contact for customer service inquiries.
  • Attend a weekly sales call with Operations Manager at a set date and time
  • Ensure that there are adequate stocks of local and foreign currency and all ancillary products.
  • Regularly review sales and purchases of each currency and recommend changing of stocks if required.
  • Maintain company policies and procedures as detailed in the Operations Manual to ensure integrity in performance and company reputation.

Provide business acumen and personal drive to maximize business growth opportunities:

  • Plan, forecast, and report on business performance.
  • Be aware of branch competition and develop strategies to overcome it.
  • Regularly observe and feedback to staff using the tools available.
  • Ability to conduct training and development sessions with staff within company guidelines and local legislation.
  • Effectively communicate performance levels and results to staff and stakeholders
  • Praise staff for good performance and reward and recognize your top performers
  • Encourage and support your team in their career with ChangeGroup and assist with LMS if required
  • Create sales tools and techniques that help motivate teams and achieve targets.
  • Managing the performance of multiple locations and people without permanent supervisory or managerial presence being there
  • Proactively work with Operations Manager and marketing/design to ensure branches constantly change and evolve.
  • Undertake other duties as considered essential for effective operations and services, as this list is not exhaustive.

Pay:
From $60,000.00 per year
