Production Control Expeditor

Perform various supply chain activities including monitoring production work orders, prioritizing & expediting work orders as needed, coordinating with other internal personnel regarding resource needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor production schedule to alert operations team when a late work order may effect sale order fulfilment
2. Oversee, prioritize & expedite production work orders
3. Monitor production variances and take corrective steps as needed
4. Process/close production work orders and assembly builds as required
5. Perform sales order fulfilments as needed
6. Monitor backorders & backorder Items to fulfill sales orders
7. Assist in the print & assemble of work order packets
8. Assist in release of work orders to the shop floor
9. Assist in the printing and assembly of sales order packets
10. Assist in the release of sales order packets to production
11. Other duties as assigned

Education

A high school diploma or GED preferred; trade school or military experience a plus

Experience & Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in production control or related area preferred
• Experience with MRP systems preferred
• Requires solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills are required
• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office 10) are required
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
