Experienced Landscape Construction Laborer/foreman - Phoenix, United States - A to Z Tree and Turf

A to Z Tree & Turf, LLC builds & services some of the largest, most prestigious residential landscapes in the Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Phoenix areas.

We are currently looking for Landscape Construction / Improvement Laborers & Foreman with valid driver's license. Bilingual is a plus.

Position Available:
Experienced Landscape Construction - Laborer / Foreman

Compensation:
$22-$28+ per hour. Depending on Experience

Position Requirements
- ‬Knowledge of all areas related to Landscape Construction including but not limited to

• Plant Installation experience. Trees, Shrubs etc.
• Irrigation Knowledge and experience
• Turf Installation and Excavation experience
• Some Hardscape experience
• Must be dependable & reliable, show up on time when scheduled
• Must have clean appearance & good attitude towards crew & customers
• Must be able to communicate with customers in a positive manner
• Must be able to follow direction from superintendent & management
• Must be able to meet scheduling needs & document added / extra work
• Must be able to fill out timesheets and production reports daily
• Must use & maintain safety / personal protective equipment
• Must be able to use gas powered mowers, weed eaters, trimmers, etc.
• Must be able to use hand tools such as shovels, picks & digging bars
• Must be able to climb ladders as needed for tree and shrub maintenance
• Drive company truck, keep it clean, safe & organized
• Other duties as directed and or assigned by management

Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
‬ ‬

• Must be able to work some overtime as needed during busy season
• Ability to understand heat illness, take lunch & adequate water breaks
• Ability to work in extreme Arizona temperatures 100+ degrees in summer
• Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 50 to 60 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand and twist continuously throughout the day
• Able to work in a fastpaced work environment
• Ability to work all scheduled shifts.

Eligibility Requirements:
- ‬Possess valid driver's license & clean MVR

• Required for Foreman Position
• Must have 2 years of previous Landscape Construction experience
• Ability to speak both English and Spanish is a plus but not required
