ALTERNATIVE FIRE PROTECTION
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Installation of overhead wetpipe fire sprinkler systems
- Installation of underground fire lines and related apparatuses
- Installation of new Fire Sprinkler projects and complete systems on time and correctly
- Installation of new systems, retrofits, Tenant Improvements, and Residential Single Family Dwellings
- Emergency Service Calls
- Perform Final Test & Inspections with Local Fire Departments/AHJ's
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site
- Interface successfully with General Contractors and End Users, along with internal Administration, Sales, and Management
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, small power tools and pipe threading machines
- Extensive Comprehension of adopted NFPA 13 and local fire codes/regulations
- Must participate in Certification and Training Programs
Qualifications:
- Oral Communication Skills (English)
- Reliable transportation
- Five or more years' experience with fire sprinkler installations, retrofits and tenant improvements (Pay based on experience)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A current and valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, work overhead, work on aerial lifts and work varied hours including on call.
- Must be able to work occasional nights, early morning and weekend shift when needed
Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour
