    Job Description:


    Ensuring the organization handles its suppliers, clients, organizations, related entities and stakeholders with clearly defined principles, policies and governance under contractual terms and conditions throughout the lifecycle of the construction and supply contracts.


    Responsibilities:

    • Drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and completing various contracts including Change Order, Amendment, and Notices or any other transactions that has to be brought under contract.
    • Ensuring compliance of the contractual clauses taking into account global, local, regional contracting frameworks and guidelines.
    • Support Vestas operational colleagues (e.g., development team, project managers, construction managers and site crews) by interpreting contractual provisions in context of situation in the field; identify possible contractual approaches and negotiating tactics to avoid or resolve disputes; and assist the chosen strategy through drafting letters, notices, amendments and other contractual deliverables.
    • Develop and maintain contracts database that captures lifecycle requirements for easy reference and management of operational and commercial obligations.
    • Ensure that all contracts and other binding instruments are consistent with Vestas internal guidelines for acceptable commercial commitments and other risk policies.
    • Develop and maintain very effective professional working relationship with Vestas Sales, Legal, Service, Transport & Procurement, Finance as well as other departments and stakeholders.
    • Support internal process improvements necessary to support job requirements, including document management and reporting tools.
    • Identify opportunities to create mutual value for Vestas and customers while protecting Vestas profitability and risk appetite.

    Qualifications:

    Must have:

    • Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Supply chain, or related field; degree or certification in Contract Management will be highly desirable.
    • Advanced oral communication skills with proven ability to prepare clear, concise and compelling written materials; in particular, ability to communicate with field personnel lacking specialized contract knowledge; solid customer presence and ability to negotiate contentious issues.
    • Proven capabilities in problem solving, negotiations and conflict resolution.
    • Ability to plan, organize, balance responsibilities, prioritize, and deliver assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines. Should be detail oriented.
    • High proficiency with standard IT tools including Microsoft Office, and comfort learning and using new internal IT platforms.
    • Having limited experience and understanding in the area of work with imitativeness to seek knowledge by exploring and collaborating so as to deliver the tasks
    • Seek counsel on tasks to learn and deliver and applying skills to perform the task that are not very complex but it is the foundation for a better solution.
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external parties to achieve common goals, as well as ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

    Competencies:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and SAP)
    • Regular and reliable attendance to project and functional meetings.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms
    • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
