Description
Brown Point Facility Management Solutions, LLC is looking for a Comptroller to join our team.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including the daily review of accounts payable and receivable, processing vendor invoices, and reconciling bank statements.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Manage the general ledger and perform monthend and yearend closing activities
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings and other regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices in financial management

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Comptroller or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Experience with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems
  • Solid understanding of corporate accounting functions including general ledger accounting and accounts receivable/payable
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare accurate reports
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams
  • Prior experience in public accounting is a plus

Pay:
$80, $110,000.00 per year
