    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    As a Weatherization Retrofit Installer Crew Leader, you will be in charge of ensuring the completion of 'weatherization' or 'carpentry' tasks in homes that have undergone a weatherization energy audit or inspection. Your work will align with the guidelines of the Department of Energy and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources/Division of Energy, along with other relevant protocols and procedures.

    In addition to overseeing the Retrofit Installers, you will provide training to contractors and ensure lead safe practices are implemented in older homes.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Supervise and implement 'weatherization' tasks on homes based on provided recommendations.
    • Install insulation, windows, doors, air sealing, and other necessary items to reduce energy consumption.
    • Enter confined spaces like crawlspaces and attics for tasks.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
    • Manage and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
    • Adhere to agency policies and complete assigned duties.
    • Lead and manage Retrofit Installers at job sites.
    • Supervise the workflow and safety of weatherization tasks.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training is a plus.
    • Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record.
    • Minimum one year of relevant experience.
    • Certifications in OSHA 10, Confined Spaces, BPI Building Science, and Lead Safe Renovation required.
    • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to operate tools, perform basic calculations, and follow instructions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
    • Attention to detail and customer service orientation.
    • Physical capabilities to lift, climb, and remain standing for extended periods.
