    STV is a reputable professional company excelling in various sectors such as education, corrections, highways, bridges, rail, and mass transit.

    We are in search of a skilled Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our Buildings & Facilities division. At STV, Inc., we specialize in the planning, organization, and advancement of engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities.

    Our Engineers are involved in top-quality national and international projects. As part of this role, you will actively engage in the entire project lifecycle, from the design phase to the final construction close-out.

    Key Qualifications:
    • 8 to 15 years of design experience with a four-year engineering degree from an accredited university.
    • Registered Professional Engineer or on track to obtain PE certification within 12 months.
    • Advanced understanding of the latest National Electrical Code and hazardous location wiring practices.
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as UL, API, NFPA, IEEE, ISA.
    • Competence in working with power electrical equipment and performing related calculations.
    • Experience with various technical tools and software, including power system study applications.
    • Proficiency in creating documents using MS Word and Excel.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with mentoring abilities.
    Responsibilities Beyond Basic Qualifications
    • Leading projects from inception to completion, overseeing daily tasks and team work.
    • Managing project resources, budgets, and schedules effectively.
    • Participating in project reviews and vendor document validations.
    • Conducting site surveys and documenting electrical systems at client sites.
    • Travel occasionally for site surveys.
    Desirable Additional Experience:
    • Experience in Oil and Gas Pipeline Projects.
    • Familiarity with medium voltage power distribution and related equipment.
    • Capability in specifying, designing, and setting protective relay settings for medium voltage electrical equipment.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Access, and hands-on leadership experiences.
