General Summary


Responsible for executing day-to-day product management tasks, communications and supporting team to achieve on time tracking for key product milestones.

Assists the Director or Product and overall product team to help grow the business in assigned categories through communications management, data analysis, competitive and marketplace analysis


Reports to:
Director of Product, Keds


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Plays a key role in the tactical daytoday operations of the team and liaison with sales and marketing to drive category expansion through crossfunctional communications and operations.
  • Manages weekly triad (Product management, Product Development, Design) to ensure cross functional team alignment.
  • Manages sales sample process to ensure on time delivery.
  • Use competitive data, trend and innovative ideas to contribute to assortment planning for product line(s).
  • Assists with the development of the seasonal line architecture and seasonal briefs.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of the global market needs.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Required Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years' experience in footwear, apparel, accessories.
  • Solid product knowledge and understanding of global markets and competitors.
  • Strong business acumen, merchandising and analytical skill sets.
  • Exceptional followthrough skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, including the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective cross functional relationships within the organization.

Experience:


  • 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in Footwear, apparel, and or accessories
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional follow through
  • Strong leadership skills to lead cross functional partners

Education:


  • Bachelors degree
