ABOUT THE JOB:


The Coordinator is a key part of the Engineering team and serves as the primary interface between Park USA's Sales and Production teams in ensuring accurate Bill of Materials (BOM's) are available and reliable for pricing of jobs and production of products.

The Coordinator will be responsible to ensure data accuracy in that the BOM's have been entered into SAP.

They will also be responsible for conducting spot checks to ensure current pricings and product line items are still relevant and correct.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Knowledgeable of Park USA products and can provide guidance for internal customers inquiries.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of production level BOM's and part numbers in SAP.
  • Review new BOM's to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to entering into SAP
  • Create product ID's for items and conducting searches to verify the same item is not duplicated in SAP
  • Create material ID's independently or with directions from the material planner
  • Identify parts needed for the various products from the submitted drawings
  • Coordinate with both Sales and Production to identify required items which may be missing and required to efficiently and accurately complete the BOM's
  • Accurately enter BOM's into SAP for every product
  • Maintain data accuracy of the BOM's in SAP
  • Create Purchase Orders requisitions based on BOM's
  • Provide assistance and guidance on complex projects with the Production teams.
  • Assist in material price acquisition and product estimates as needed.
  • Assist engineering team in preparing submittals and production documents as time is available.
  • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:


  • Familiarity with Park USA production methods and production capabilities.
  • Understanding of specific plant capabilities.
  • Customer oriented with ability to relate with internal customers in a calm, professional manner.
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Possess the ability to effectively work with varying personality styles and maintain a sense of humor.
  • Must be agile and able to change directions easily and professionally.
  • Develop a complex familiarity of SAP and understand how BOM's relate to the production and delivery process.
  • Intermediate skills working with computers and software packages such as, Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with clarity and professionalism.
  • This position may interact within all levels of the organization. Additionally, this position may have contact with business partners, customers, vendors and visitors.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience in precast industry would be helpful, but not mandatory
  • At least two years of previous experience working in an office setting
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Wellorganized with attention to detail
  • High energy, selfmotivation, and personal integrity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
