Prime Plumbing is seeking a talented individual work in our warehouse as an associate.


This primary responsibility for this position is maintaining the inventory of the physical warehouse (including the sea containers) and the plumbing trucks within the fleet; this requires ordering, receiving, distributing, and performing regular cycle counts of all materials owned by Prime Plumbing.

Additional responsibilities include sourcing special order materials, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and lot, and managing relationships with distributors to ensure that material costs remain in line with industry standards.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


Daily Expectations

  • Advance materials to mechanics for ongoing projects and detail materials to said projects in real 5me to ensure accurate job cos5ng
  • Field phone calls from mechanics to price and source specialty materials not stocked within the warehouse
  • Receive any deliveries and store in the appropriate areas staging for project specific deliveries and in general stock for standard items
  • Reviewing all materials purchased by mechanics to identify gaps in inventory process or stock; includes confirming that purchase orders have been created and costs input within Service Titan

Weekly Expectations

  • Ordering and receiving of materials to maintain stock levels within the warehouse; includes inspecting all materials delivered for quality and requesting pickups/credit for defective materials as necessary
  • Pulling material replenishments for mechanics from general stock and tracking any back order items to ensure they are returned to the mechanic in a timely manner
  • Reviewing vendor invoices and updating material costs within Service Titan to ensure accurate job costing and pricing
  • Complete up to 2 physical truck inventories

Monthly Expectations

  • Inspect all fire ex5nguishers and sign off on monthly inspec5ons
  • Report on pricing increase in frequently used materials
  • Report on road tickets for material purchases and provide recommendations of changes to stock as needed to limit down time for supply house runs

Quarterly Expectations

  • Cycle count inventory of physical warehouse focusing on high dollar items every quarter and rotating through lower value items throughout the year
  • Pulling stock list items out to bid with distributors; focusing on materials that have shown highest increases in cost
  • Inventory uniform stock to facilitate ordering new uniforms for distribution
  • Other tasks and duties may be given at any time

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


  • Ability to stand up and sit down for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to perform range of movements (i.e. squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, etc.) to support the supervised technicians during in field training and to perform plumbing services

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:


  • Ability to manage internal resources effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Communicate and manage expectations of vendors and partners
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
  • Excellent organizational and followthrough skills
  • Good understanding of inventory management and logistics

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:


  • Industry experience is a plus, however not required.
