- Accurately process payroll for all employees on a timely basis.
- Calculate and record payroll deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and other withholdings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate billing.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including payroll data, benefits information, and related documentation.
- Prepare reports on payroll and benefits metrics as needed.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws governing payroll and benefits administration.
- Assist in audits related to payroll and benefits processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees on understanding their compensation and benefits packages.
- Address and resolve issues or concerns related to payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, including tax calculations and deductions.
- Familiarity with benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
