    Description

    RSM is looking for a Senior Accountant for our Finance & Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) practice within our Private Client Services (PCS) practice, a high-growth segment of our tax practice.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working for a regional public accounting firm in a hybrid audit-tax-bookkeeping role, or in-house corporate accounting experience.

    This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing shared services practice focused on serving complex clients with foreign direct investments (FDI).


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare/review financial statements, tax returns, budgets/forecastsSupport multiple engagements in a shared services model, which may include co-sourcing and outsourcing accounting & finance engagementsSupport in onboarding new clientsUnderstanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field1+ year of public accounting or a corporate accounting experience, including financial statement preparation, general ledger work, adjusting journal entries, payroll reports and/or tax return preparationStrong accounting technology skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively on a teamAbility to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment Preferred QualificationsInternational accounting experience a plusForeign language skills a plus, especially German, French and JapanesePrior experience with QuickBooks Online, and/or Expensify strongly preferredCurrently, RSM does not intend to hire candidates for entry level positions who will need, now or in the future, RSM sponsorship through any non-immigrant visa category such as the H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, or TN.RSM is committed to providing equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities.
