- Accredited Surgical Tech Education: Successfully completed an accredited post-secondary education program in surgical technology.

- Certification: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider: Required within 6 months of hire.
