    Job Description


    Description:

    • Responsible for managing instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during surgical procedures.
    • Collaborates with licensed staff and provides patient care for individuals of different age groups under the supervision of a registered nurse.


    Qualifications:

    • MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
    • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Completion of a Surgical Technology program OR previous work as a Surgical Technologist.
    • MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Not applicable.
    • ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must have BLS Certification. Completion of a Surgical Technology Program is desirable.
