Elcon Precision located in San Jose, CA is a leading company in the field of precision metal etching, with over 50 years of experience in the industry.

We specialize in the manufacture of high-quality precision metal parts, components, and assemblies through chemical etching processes.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Assembly Technician _who must have at least 3 years of previous Assembly Technician experience_ to join our growing team.

This position is an important part of our team's effort to produce high-quality materials for our customers.

This position performs a number of complex but repetitive electro-mechanical assembly operations and uses handheld tools and precision measuring Instruments.

Follows verbal and written instructions such as blueprints, assembly layouts, and sketches in completing a variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow verbal and written instructions such as blueprints, assembly layouts, and sketches in completing a variety of assembly and subassembly tasks.
• Performs quality inspections.
• Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.

Qualifications:
-
3-5 years of previous experience as an Assembly Technician is REQUIRED:

• Previous H2 furnace brazing of hermetic assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of brazing alloys.
• Blueprint comprehension.
• Command of all measuring tools.
• Helium Leak detection.

Physical Requirements:

• Work will be performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
• Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes.
• May require extended periods of standing or sitting.
• Ability to lift (up to) 50 pounds.
• Pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting may be required.

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
