The
Employers' Liability Insurance Association for Wood and Metal (BGHM) is one of the largest providers of statutory accident insurance in Germany and provides insurance coverage for around 5.4 million insured persons in more than companies in the two industries.

Our goal is to help people who are at risk due to working conditions or who have been affected by work accidents or occupational diseases.

The
Main Department of Central Prevention Tasks advises companies and insured persons on safety and health at work with around 170 employees.

In our area of responsibility, we develop the binding and reliable expert opinion for all accident insurance providers and support the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV), its members, government agencies, and manufacturers in matters of accident and health prevention.

We test and certify work equipment and actively participate in international standardization. Do you want to shape the state of the art in occupational safety in the field of wood processing and be enthusiastic about innovative solutions in the field of occupational safety and health and further develop them?
