Summary Statement
Provide oversight and supervision of Centralized Department staff (Centralized includes Intake and Access personnel) and functions provided to support the Long Beach Clinical Programs.
Employee must also be able to exercise a common sense understanding in carrying out directions and instructions, both written and oral and in handling routine office problems.
Understand HIPAA, privacy rules and related regulations in order to maintain client, employee and program confidentiality.Must understand and maintain confidentiality using appropriate level of discretion and exercise a common sense understanding in carrying out directions and/or instructions, both written and oral, and in the handling of routine problems/situations.
Work independently with mínimal supervision to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines and stay organized in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, being assertive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
Regular attendance is an important factor in employee's job performance in order for The Guidance Center to maintain efficient operations.
When employees are absent, schedules and commitments fall behind, and other employees may need to assume added workloads. Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled and on time.Qualifications:
Experienced, professional, self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
Must have exceptional organizational skills, be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, strong decision-making ability, proactive in thinking and needs mínimal direction.
Possess the ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to prioritize workload, compose correspondence, maintain confidentiality, and work well with others. Good customer service and interpersonal skills including a good command of the spoken and written English language.Must be flexible, willing to learn, capable of taking directions and working with multiple levels of management especially in a culturally diverse, non-profit environment.
Computer literate in Welligent, Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Depending on position within the agency, may be required to have experience in or possess the ability to learn, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access or related database management softwareMust have at minimum of 4 years of experience working with Welligent. Must have 4 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector preferably with DMH funded agencies.
Must have vehicle and maintain a valid CA driver's license and automobile insurance or other reliable transportation to travel to cities in Long Beach, San Pedro, Compton, or other areas in which the Center has business.
Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
