Patient Account Representative

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Post payment to account, communicate with patient about account balance, and manage account receivable.

  • Post payment to account.
  • Generate and send out statements monthly.
  • Communicate with patients and arrange for payments for outstanding balances.
  • Appeal claim denials.
  • Identify revenue stream issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some college education.
  • Good quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills (able to easily maneuver among various website, including electronic health records and payer portals)
  • Good writing skills (good grammar and spelling, as a significant amount of communication will be via text message)

COMMITMENT:
Full time or part time. Must be reliable. Need to cover weekend.

From $15.00 per hour
