As an integral member of our Business Services, Planning & Operations team, you will be responsible for the analysis of new business system development and existing system improvements, as well as organizing the team to support various business needs and monitor deliverables to ensure those needs are met successfully and on-time.


As the Manager, Business Analysis, you will collaborate closely with business partners to understand the processes associated with each functional area and their interactions with the various systems.

The role includes advising business and technical teams on options, risks, and costs of implementing requirements and solutions. In addition, you will communicate requirements to the technical teams.

Position requires ability to influence teams, effective communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

As the Manager, Business Analysis you will serve as a model for and expect collaboration, accountability, and strong business judgment from the Business Analysis team.

This role operates from our Chicago office, following our hybrid work structure with a required three days onsite, Monday - Wednesday and remote days Thursday and Friday.


Responsibilities

  • Drive the business analysis function, define, and execute best practices for tools, templates, and processes the business analyst team will use, i.e., (BRDs), process/workflow diagrams, mockups, customer journeys, solution design sessions, etc.
  • Develop and lead a team of business analyst experts across the digital platforms and portfolios.
  • Exhibit deep understanding of business units within the enterprise and how those business units relate to each other in the value chain.
  • Drive alignment and feature prioritization within the backlog to help meet divisional goals.
  • Engage with business stakeholders and IT staff in the daytoday functioning of Agile teams.
  • Resolve blockers, reprioritize user stories and communicate iteration statuses to a broader group of stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and document business and technical requirements, considering the implications to the current state environment.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required. Concentration in in MIS, computer science, mathematics, business, or related fields preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analyst roles.
  • Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures and systems.
  • Experience in Agile development environment required.
  • Experience in B2B digital products preferred; consumerbased product experience a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in all phases of the SDLC.
  • Restaurant industry experience a plus.
  • Effective communication skills verbal, written and presentation.
  • Selfmotivated, customer focused, and strong ability to build collaborative partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and diplomacy skills.
  • Highly effective organizational, timemanagement, prioritization, and documentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency across MS Office including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to learn other computer software programs as needed.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible; responsive and accepting of change.
  • See big picture, connecting daily activity with longterm goals.
  • Ability to travel quarterly as needed.
