At Shokku Ramen, we're currently seeking a Front of the House Manager who brings valuable experience from the restaurant and bar industry.
Job Duties:
- Customer Service: Ensuring that guests have a positive experience by training and supervising frontofhouse staff, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
- Staff Management: Hiring, training, and scheduling frontofhouse staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and bussers.
- Inventory and Ordering: Managing inventory for items such as tableware, linens, and other supplies. Placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
- Scheduling: Creating and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak times and efficient use of labor.
- Quality Control: Monitoring the cleanliness and appearance of the dining area, as well as the overall ambiance and customer experience.
- Problem Resolution: Handling customer complaints and addressing issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the establishment complies with health and safety regulations, as well as any other applicable laws and regulations.
- Sales and
Revenue Management:
Working with the management team to meet sales goals and improve revenue by managing reservations, optimizing seating, and promoting upselling.
- Training and Development: Providing ongoing training and development for frontofhouse staff, including educating them on the menu, customer service standards, and company policies.
While any managerial experience is valuable, those with a background in the restaurant industry or operations will be highly regarded.
