Summary of Responsibilities:

Processes and tracks correspondence, tax returns, and other client information.


Essential Functions:


Set up new client accounts in GRF Practice Management as well as Non-Profit Tax Tracking systems including Star, Axcess, XCM/Workflow, and the Non-Profit Tax Tracker.

Set up client deliverables with appropriate due dates in the above tracking systems.

Assist in monitoring due dates and deadlines by running reports and regularly communicating with management.

Assist in preparing tax-only engagement letters.


Monitor audit schedule to stay on top of when audit jobs are being completed/ keep 990 following similar timelines as audit.

Assist in extension process for clients.


Update tracking systems for due dates / extension due dates upon completion of extension/deliverables - roll forward due date for next year's deliverables.

Ongoing general maintenance and clean-up of databases/due dates/deliverables.


Other Functions:


  • Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
  • Provide occasional "back-up" to the GRF Receptionist.

Requirements:


  • Requires graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new technology/databases for effective utilization/management.
  • Effective written and oral communications with employees, partners, and clients.
  • Assist in planning and organizing daily activities, setting priorities and ensuring tasks are performed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive firm and client information.
