Purchasing Coordinator - Magnolia, United States - Aerwave

Description

Prepare, review, and revise sales contracts, purchase agreements, service contracts, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements.

• Coordinate the purchasing process from start to finish, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
• Stock raw material goods from deliveries.
• Pick raw material goods per production plan and deliver to designated areas within the warehouse.
• Stock finished good material from production to designated shelves.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
• Process returns from internal and external customers.
• Process and complete orders according to customer requirements.
• Prior to product shipment, count all products, compare to packing slip, and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and expiration dates.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering when necessary.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer's order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse and purchasing strategies.
• Work closely with the finance department to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 2+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment. Preferably in the Construction or Telecom industry.
• Strong knowledge of price negotiation techniques and supply chain management principles.
• Proficiency in using warehouse/purchasing software or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Experience in supplier/warehouse management and purchasing practices.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of inventory control methods and techniques.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
