    Description
    Our client, is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. As a Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be part of the department and supporting the team.

    What's the Job?

    Invoicing customers and preparing customer statements.
    Generating weekly A/R aging reports.
    Applying payments to customer accounts and posting daily deposits.
    Tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues.
    Initiating collections on past-due accounts.
    Conducting account research and analysis.
    Reconciling A/R to the General Ledger (G/L).
    Preparing and maintaining various financial reports.
    Assisting with month-end close processes.
    Maintaining the Customer database and ensuring outdated or missing information is renewed/acquired.
    Working on special projects as assigned.
    Seeking and proposing opportunities to streamline existing Accounts Receivable procedures.

    What's Needed?

    Customer service experience with technical communication proficiencies.
    Proactive, articulate, with high attention to detail and organization.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently seek opportunities for streamlining or process improvement.
    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    Intermediate Excel skills.
    Experience with ERP / CRM systems.

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable with complex cash applications, preferably in the beverage or other consumer packaged goods industry.

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related Business field preferred.
