Responsibilities:


The Global Logistics Center (GLC) in Germersheim is the heart of the worldwide operational logistics process for parts and accessories for Mercedes-Benz cars and vans.

The GLC includes external locations in Wörth, Ettlingen, Offenbach, and Hatten/France, as well as various supply locations in the vicinity of the GLC.


The GSP/OG department (Occupational Health and Safety and Guidelines Management) is responsible for the Global Logistics Center Germersheim, the central warehouse in Tuscaloosa, and 44 wholesale locations on five continents, from Fontana/USA to Auckland/New Zealand.

GSP/OG ensures the continuous development and optimization of operational logistics processes and the networking between wholesale locations.

To build and further develop our department for occupational health and safety and guidelines management, we are looking for an employee with a strong business sense and intercultural sensitivity.

The place of work does not necessarily have to be in Germersheim and can also be represented by the German logistics centers (LC).


Some of the challenges you will face include:

  • Support in various functions for occupational health and safety
  • Coordination and creation of contributions for departmental communication
  • Preparation and followup of working group meetings and various regular appointments
  • Creation of presentations

Qualifications:


  • Degree in health management or a comparable field of study
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Proficient in MS
