Powered Industrial Truck operation- moves levers and pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area.
Unloads and stacks materials by raising and lowering lifting device.Loads and unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
High school diploma or GED and related experience or training; Stand-up forklift experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
Follows all policies, standards and safety requirements directed by company.Ensures a quality product is being produced and all quality processes are being followed.
Assemble, operate, and disassemble various blending equipment.
Assemble and navigate the inventory scan gun to track real time inventory usage.
Communicate effectively with Blending Supervisor on blending performance, employee performance, quality issues, and other daily needs.
Clean combo dumper between each combo.
Wash equipment and line as needed for product changeovers.
Follow our color code system in regard to food safety (including labeling product with appropriate allergen labels).
Food safety and quality are the responsibility of every individual working at Kansas City Sausage Company. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Mechanical ability to set up various equipment.
Communicate effectively with Blending Supervisor on blending performance, employee performance, quality issues, and other daily needs.
