Description

Manage the troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Electrical Infrastructure with an emphasis on PV and other types of Renewable Energy projects.


Hours:
Monday - Thursday [4] 10 hour shifts per week. 7 am to 5 pm

Travel 100% of the time unless project is w/in 50 miles of home. 3 to 5 nights in a hotel each week, usually 3. Vehicle provided to get to jobsites and drive home at end of travel. Per Diem included.


Required Qualifications:
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable and safe driving record.

Minimum of 2 years experience with PV equipment and installation.

Proficient with jpg, pdf, and file management within various computer programs such as Sales Force.

Minimum 1 year troubleshooting Photovoltaic Power Systems

Experience maintaining and servicing solar monitoring systems (SolarEdge, SMA, SunPower Monitoring, Enphase, and other various monitoring sites).

Experience maintaining and servicing solar inverters/micro-inverters (SMA, PVI, SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius, Delta).

Must be able to bend, squat and kneel.


Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, and lift at least 30 pounds frequently.


Duties include but not limited to:
Manage and perform electrical work such as landing conductors, installing conduit, pulling wire, and installing electrical equipment.

Perform electrical testing and commissioning per manufacturer instructions and industry standards.

Perform PV System Troubleshooting by testing inverters, conductors, and modules.

Perform updates and information uploads into online customer and monitoring portals.

Performs and supervises all tasks ensuring all safety practices are followed. OSHA 30 is a plus.

Meet about and implement Site Safety plan on a regular basis. Ensure safety protocols are in place, done correctly, and documented.


Communicate with on-site customer representatives, project manager, vendors making deliveries of equipment and material, and other subcontractors on the project.

Able to read and understand drawings and plansets.

Operate on equipment such as Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, VR Forklift

Perform material take offs, receive and manage materials onsite


Pay:
$ $50.00 per hour
