ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in policy development and interpretation within the department.
- Develop objectives, policies, and procedures for approval.
- Administer programs in alignment with policies.
- Conduct special assignments for management.
- Coordinate budget spending.
- Contribute to the growth and training of department personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
OVERALL ROLE
The Safety Officer will collaborate with all levels of management and employees to enhance safety practices. They will focus on Occupational Safety and Health, adapting to varying responsibilities based on division needs.
DISCIPLINE RESPONSIBILITIES
II. Occupational Safety Department
1. Stay updated on safety disciplines and trends.
2. Manage Hearing Conservation and Respiratory Protection Programs.
3. Conduct air quality sampling and surveys.
4. Oversee Confined Space Entry Program.
