Job Description

This Role Will:

Support the Unit Coordinator and the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Consultant in overseeing and supervising the clients in the Lehmann Cottage Autism Program, ensuring top-notch treatment.

More specifically, this role entails working with children with special requirements, which includes offering guidance and supervision, assisting with their personal hygiene practices, and participating in various activities related to children's well-being, education, and care for the environment, while also maintaining accurate records.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field
    or 5 years equivalent experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age in accordance with DCFS regulations.
  • First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Completion of Registered Behavior Training (RBT) within 6 months (180 days).


DESIRED:
1. Previous work background in a residential environment.


  • Proficiency in crisis intervention and physical restraints.
  • Obtained Registered Behavior Training (RBT) Credential.

Starting from $17.00 per hour
