- Establish performance standards and objectives for the Materials organization that support overall operating objectives
- Provide proactive assessments of current and future material flow issues and plans to resolve
- Contact suppliers directly to expedite closure of major supplier quality and delivery issues
- Assess employee training needs and develop succession plans for critical organizational positions
- Assures ISO compliance within the plant Materials organization
- Monitor planner performance and provide feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Materials Management or a related field required
- Master's in Business Administration preferred
- Five years of business experience required
- Preferably two years of managerial experience within PACCAR
- Understanding and training in Six Sigma and lean principles
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to initiate, lead change and manage multiple functions
