Nurse Practitioner:
Works under moderate supervision of a physician to provide advanced practice nursing care and treatment within primary care and/or board recognized specialization.
Physician Assistant:
To provide primary health care services in a clinical setting under the supervision and direction of a primary care physician in one of the following areas: adult health and/or adolescent health.
Responsible for the performance of tasks of a standardized nature which are complex and require considerable experience of specialized training, but which do not constitute the practice of medicine.

Required Education

Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
