Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Hand to join our team.

As a Yard Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to the operation of our yard and warehouse.

This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in various weather conditions.


Duties:

• Load and unload materials from trucks using a pallet jack or other equipment
• Organize and maintain inventory in the yard
• Assist with the movement of materials within the yard using tractors or other machinery
• Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure efficient operations
• Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks in the yard
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with tractortrailers or route driving is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
• Valid CDL driver's license with a clean driving record

Please note that this position requires physical labor, including heavy lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a full-time position
