- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
- Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Support auditors during internal and external audits
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a non-profit organization is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
