    Description
    Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy is required.

    We are excited to collaborate with the local school district in Houston, TX to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. We are dedicated to providing outstanding professionals to assist students in the community with their communication and language needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
    • Create and execute personalized treatment plans based on assessment results
    • Deliver direct therapy services to students to address speech and language objectives
    • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to meet students' communication requirements in school and at home
    • Track and record student progress, making adjustments to intervention strategies when needed
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and offer insights on students' speech and language goals and advancements
    • Stay updated on the latest practices and research in speech-language pathology

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure
    • Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
    • Experience working with school-aged children is advantageous
    • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting
    • Commitment to delivering top-notch services to students with diverse needs
