    Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sugar Land, TX

    Position: Full-Time Contract
    Location: Sugar Land, TX

    Job Description:

    Soliant, in collaboration with our partner school districts in the Sugar Land, TX area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position. The selected candidate will work within a school setting to provide essential speech and language therapy services to students, contributing to their academic and personal growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students within a school setting.
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the speech and language needs of students.
    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights and recommendations based on assessments and observations.

    Educational and Licensing Requirements:

    • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
    • Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association).
    • Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification.

    Minimum Experience Requirement:

    • At least one year of recent experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting.
