The Customer Service Representative will engage with customers, manage orders, and provide information to address inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding our products and services. You'll have a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Imperial Dade is the primary independently owned distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. With a focus on customized supply chain solutions, we cater to various business-to-business sectors such as restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare, sports, entertainment, and cruise lines. Established in 1935 with headquarters in New Jersey, Imperial Dade is a vital partner to over 90,000 customers across 125+ branches.

Responsibilities

Answer customer calls promptly and professionally
Interact with customers via phone, email, or in-person
Support sales growth by suggesting new products and participating in promotions
Offer substitutions for out-of-stock items to optimize fill rates
Elevate customer concerns to the service manager when needed

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
2 years of customer service experience
Proficiency in MS Office and other software
2 years of data entry experience
Strong communication skills
Outgoing personality with a helpful attitude
