- Lead strategic planning initiatives across eight bus divisions
- Create data-driven alternative plans for construction projects and daily service adjustments
- Analyze ridership patterns to shape the future of Metrobus service
- Develop alternative service proposals and collaborate cross-functionally
- Interface with various stakeholders to implement innovative solutions
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams
- Develop and maintain bus operation schedules
- Conduct bus efficiency analyses and oversee scheduling activities
- Create a balance between quality of schedules, vehicle blocks, driver duty assignments
- Review and analyze operational data for future scheduling improvements
- Establish relationships with Bus Transportation divisions
- Distribute bus assignments within the division
- Review schedule quality and provide feedback for improvements
- Extract relevant data and monitor scheduling consistency
- Apply software for efficiency analysis and provide reports
- Stay updated on scheduling best practices and new tools

Minimum Qualifications:
Education Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Engineering, or related field.
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a high school diploma or GED and four years of experience in system development, database administration, or operation analysis in transportation. Experience A minimum of six years in system development or operation analysis in transportation. Certification/Licensure N/A Preferred field of study: Statistics or Mathematics
