Position:
Family Services Specialist

Classification:
Full-time, Exempt

Reports to:
Program Manager

Location:
Houston, TX

Position Description:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services OR three (3) years' experience with a childplacing agency in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year experience in residential treatment setting and/or child placing agency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledgeable in treatment milieu, intervention skills, strategies, and structure.
Knowledge of training and adult learning.
Knowledge of Social Work practices.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to maintain professional, confidential work environment.
Ability to work with culturally diverse populations and work force.
Ability to work flexible hours which vary according to client needs.

Work Conditions:

Environment: Office, Community
Range of Schedule: Mon
Fri, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Travel: Occasional
