    Job Summary

    The People Ops Specialist is an integral member of our COE (Center of Excellence) HR Badging team and a fantastic opportunity to build a career in human resources.

    This role will be responsible for ensuring all employees

    and new hires

    have received valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
    Duties and

    Responsibilities
    Collect

    and review

    all necessary

    badging

    forms, background checks, and identification

    from

    candidates we have offered a position.
    Create new

    employee

    files and

    upload all

    collected

    badging

    information
    Upload all required

    badging

    forms and info to

    state cannabis agencies

    ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
    Track status of pending badges

    and identify potential

    delays in successful completion

    of badging process
    Communicating with managers and employees about upcoming badge

    expiration

    dates
    Manage all badge renewals including document gathering and submission
    Conduct monthly audits of badging processes to ensure it aligns with

    compliance

    regulations that change

    frequently

    Qualifications
    1-2 years of HR administrative support experience
    Must meet the age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies
    Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies
    Education
    Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field, or combination of education and experience

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    Ability to organize, manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities, deadlines, tasks and projects while dealing with interruptions and an uneven workload
    Solution Focus – ability to navigate through complex issues and find solutions
    Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle difficult and/or sensitive situations
    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, build trust and credibility across an organization
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
