Job Title: Practical Nurse (LPN) Company: UNC Faculty Physicians

Our gynecology services encompass full screening and preventive care for women of all ages, from adolescence to pregnancy and menopause. Our obstetricians offer support for both routine and high-risk pregnancies, emphasizing the importance of prenatal care to monitor progress and address any potential issues early on. Our collaboration with midwives ensures comprehensive care from delivery to postpartum recovery.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Incentive: $5,000

Summary:

As a Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide direct patient care, addressing both physical and psychological needs according to the care plan, physician's orders, and department protocols. Patients may range from neonates to geriatric individuals, receiving care in various settings.

Responsibilities:

Contribute to developing individualized care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
Observe, assess, and document patient responses to treatments, adjusting care priorities accordingly.
Participate in unit activities and enrichment programs for positive outcomes.
Administer a range of treatments, including medication administration, respiratory care, and patient education.
Provide patient and family support throughout their healthcare journey, offering de-escalation and coping strategies as needed.

Requirements:

Education: Completion of a state-accredited practical nurse education program.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in North Carolina, BLS certification.
Experience: No prior experience required.
