    Description

    At Health Advocates Network, we are looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at a Correctional Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.




    Position: Licensed Practical Nurse

    Company: Health Advocates Network


    • Pay Rate:
    $45 / hour


    Job Details:
    - Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm, 1st shift, 8 hours
    - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Flexibility required for additional hours as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    - Minimum 1 year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
    - Strong ability to connect with patients
    - Compassionate and empathetic attitude
    - Knowledge of medical terms
    - Current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)

    Responsibilities:
    - Provide direct patient care under supervision
    - Conduct routine patient assessments and maintain accurate records
    - Administer prescribed medications and document administration
    - Monitor and record vital signs regularly
    - Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehab procedures
    - Ensure accurate documentation using EMR
    - Collaborate with healthcare professionals on care plans
    - Educate patients and families on post-treatment care
    - Follow infection control protocols
    - Act effectively during emergencies
    - Participate in quality improvement initiatives
    - Maintain compliance with requirements
    - Complete necessary documentation and testing timely
